About the Extension

Purpose of the plugin

In the standard Shopware version, an order confirmation email cannot be resent directly from the order. If customers have not received or have lost the original email, it can only be resent indirectly.

This plugin extends order management with the ability to quickly and easily resend order confirmation emails — directly from the order and without making any changes to the order itself.

Resending the order confirmation

Emails can be resent at any time directly within the respective order. Any existing email template can be selected for this purpose.

Flexible selection of sender and recipient
For resending, you can specify which sender to use and to whom the email should be sent. In addition to the customer, administrators or freely defined email addresses can also be selected as recipients. You can also choose between the default sender and a user-defined sender.

Additional note text for resent emails
Optionally, additional text can be stored that is only displayed in the resent email. This can be used, for example, to explain the resend or for additional information and is integrated into the email template via a variable.
