About the Extension
Application scenario - for whom is this plugin intended?
There are numerous ready-made blocks and elements for the Shopware experience worlds - directly from Shopware but also from other agencies. These elements and blocks offer numerous setting options. In the Shopware standard, these settings cannot be saved for reuse. This is exactly where our plugin comes in and saves your settings of the elements and blocks for reuse. So that you can continue to use the standard blocks and elements, we also save them. For the blocks, we offer the possibility to classify them in their own block categories, so that your prefabricated blocks are easy to find. We have also created the possibility to create and manage your own block categories.
New: Copy configured elements from experience world blocks and paste the copied element into another block.
Using the plugin
The easiest way to use our "Save and manage experience world blocks and elements" plugin is to use an example:1.) Create an experience world (Shopware Standard)
Content > Worlds of Experience > Create new layout > e.g. a landing page > Full width > Assign layout name
2.) Add a block (Shopware Standard)
Add block > select block category > e.g. image & text > select block > e.g. two columns, centred image & text
3.) Change elements / content (Shopware Standard)
Click on the text element and edit it with the cogwheel.
Then carry out the settings (change / format the text in the tab Contents or set the vertical alignment under the tab Settings).
4.) SAVE elements / contents (ACRIS Plugin Feature)
Click on the element to be saved - in this case our adapted text element - and click on the save symbol.
A window opens in which a name of the element, the position of the element in the element list.
Optionally, a preview image of the element can be added. Once the name has been given, the element can be saved.
Then edit the other elements of the block and save them if desired.
5.) SAVE block (ACRIS Plugin Feature)
Our plugin not only allows you to save elements, but also to save entire blocks (which can consist of several elements) for reuse or as a template.
for reuse or as a template.
To do this, click on the save symbol in the block settings > a new window opens.
A descriptive block name makes it easier to find the block if there are many blocks, as well as the position and the block category.
We provide a new block category which can be used immediately: "ACRIS individual blocks" - you are welcome to create further block categories (see below).
Optionally, you can upload a block preview image, which will then be displayed in the admin area as a block preview.
Please do not forget to save the block.
