Form Builder Pro

Installation

• Open the plugin manager via Extensions > My extensions
• Upload, install and activate the plugin

Configure the plugin

Extensions > My extensions > Form Builder Pro > Configure

• Reply-to address
  Choose whether the email addresses entered by customers should be added as reply-to addresses in the form email.
• Delete logs after x days
  Specify the number of days after which stored form logs are deleted automatically. The default value is 90 days.

Create a form in Shopping Experiences

Content > Shopping Experiences

• Open an existing Shopping Experience or create a new one
• Select the ACRIS Form Builder Pro category in the block selection
• Add the form block at the desired position
• Open the settings of the form element

• Title
  Set the form heading or hide the form title.
• Separator line
  Optionally display a line below the main title and define its color.
• Field group numbering
  Automatically number field groups starting from 0 or 1, or use custom content defined in each group’s settings. Hidden groups are skipped in automatic numbering.
• Numbering display
  Display numbering as text or round badges. The badge background and text colors can be customized.
• Internal ID
  Define an identifier to distinguish the form, for example in rules for the Flow Builder.
• Button text and button position
  Set the label and alignment of the submit button.
• Success message
  Define the success message displayed after the form is submitted.

• Add a new field
  Create a form field and select the desired field type.
• Label and placeholder
  Enter a title, placeholder and additional help text for the field.
• Internal name
  Assign a unique internal name to each field. Letters, numbers, underscores and hyphens are permitted.
• Required field
  Specify whether the field must be completed.
• Field size
  Configure the field width for desktop, tablet and mobile devices. Add a row break if required.
• Order and duplication
  Move or duplicate fields and groups to adjust the form structure.

• Single and multiple selection
  Add options with a display name and a unique internal value. Specify their order and any preselected options.
• Text fields
  Set a minimum and maximum number of characters if required.
• Number fields
  Select integer or decimal numbers and optionally define a minimum and maximum value.
• Date fields
  Select date or date with time. Specify whether customers can select past and future dates or future dates only.
• File upload
  Specify the permitted file types and maximum file size in MB.
• Info text
  Display additional information as HTML within the form.
• Hidden form field
  Submit additional values without displaying a visible input field.
• Prefill form field
  Depending on the field type, use default data, a fixed value or a URL parameter to prefill the field.

• Add a new group
  Create a group and optionally assign a group title.
• Add fields
  Use “Add field to group” to create the desired fields within the group.
• Separator line
  Optionally display a line below the group title and specify its colour.

• Select the desired field or group and open the Restrictions section
• Add a new dependency using Add restriction
• Select the form field whose value should be checked
• Specify whether the selected field or group should be shown or hidden
• Select the condition is equal to or is not equal to and enter the comparison value
• If required, separate multiple comparison values with |. For selection fields, use the internal option values.
• Note that multiple restrictions are linked using OR

• Internal name
  Enter an internal name for the form.
• Email recipients
  Enter one or more recipient addresses. If no recipients are entered, the email is sent to the address stored in the shop’s basic settings.
• Email subject
  Specify a custom subject. If left empty, the default subject is used.

Configure voucher codes

Marketing > Promotions

• Create a promotion or open an existing one
• Enable individual promotion codes and define a code pattern
• Set the usage limit per customer to 1
• Configure the discount, validity period and further redemption conditions within the promotion
• Save the promotion

• Promotion for voucher code generation
  Select the prepared promotion. No voucher code is generated if no promotion is assigned.
• Display the voucher code in the email
  Add the variable {{ voucherCode }} to the email template used.
• Check the promotion information
  If the selected promotion does not have a suitable code pattern, use “Open promotion” to complete its configuration.

Check email delivery in the Flow Builder

Settings > Automation > Flow Builder

• Check the flow triggered by an ACRIS Form Builder Pro submission or create a corresponding flow
• Add an action to send an email and select the desired email template
• Select either the recipient addresses configured in the Shopping Experiences element or the email address entered by the customer
• If required, add conditions based on the internal form ID or specific submitted field values
• Save and activate the flow

View form logs

Settings > Extensions > Form Builder Pro > Form Builder Pro Logs

• View submitted forms with customer name, email address, sales channel and creation date
• Check form content, sending status and generated voucher codes

Publish and test the form

• Save the Shopping Experience and assign it to the desired category or landing page
• Open the form in the storefront and submit a test enquiry
• Check required fields, dependencies, file uploads and the layout on different devices
• Check email delivery and, if enabled, the generated voucher code
