About the Extension

Purpose of the Plugin

By default, Shopware does not provide an integrated option to automatically notify customers when an unavailable product is back in stock. Notifications for low stock levels and internal stock alerts are also only available to a limited extent.

We have therefore developed a plugin that integrates stock notifications and stock alerts directly into Shopware and provides the following features:

Automatic Notification When Products Are Back in Stock

Customers can register for a stock notification directly on the product detail page by entering their email address. As soon as the defined minimum stock level for the requested product is reached again, a notification is sent automatically. The required notification threshold can be defined globally and adjusted individually for specific products if required.

Flexible Display on the Product Detail Page

The registration form for stock notifications can be displayed in different positions on the product detail page. It can be placed near the Buy button, below the product number or within an expandable bell icon. Alternatively, the notification function can replace the Buy button for unavailable products.

Low Stock Notifications

A corresponding notification can be displayed in the storefront for products with only a small quantity remaining. The message can be shown both on the product detail page and within product listings. The stock threshold at which the notification is displayed can be defined individually.

Internal Stock Alerts

In addition to customer notifications, internal stock alerts can be configured. As soon as a defined stock threshold is reached or falls below the specified value, an email is sent to the configured recipients. The alerts can be sent immediately or combined into a recurring summary notification.

Central Management of Registrations

All registrations can be managed centrally in the Shopware Administration. Available information includes the product, sales channel, language, confirmation status and notification date. Entries can be filtered, edited, created manually or deleted.

Double Opt-In and Data Protection

A double opt-in process can be used for stock notification registrations. Customers confirm their registration using a link in a separate email. The settings can be configured differently for guests, logged-in customers and customers who have already registered. Data protection information and consent texts can also be integrated into the form.

Custom Workflows with the Flow Builder

The plugin provides its own events for the Shopware Flow Builder. This makes it possible to trigger custom workflows and additional actions when a customer registers, confirms the double opt-in or receives a stock notification.

Requirements for Proper Operation

For the plugin to operate correctly, the Shopware Message Queue and Scheduled Tasks must be configured.

Ein halbes Jahr nach dem kauf ist uns aufgefallen, das ein Prozess im Admin mit dem Plugin kollidiert ist.
Eine Supportanfrage, sofort eine Lösung, alles läuft wieder. Ohne ACRIS könnten Shopware 6 nicht nutzen

Wir hatten davor ein anderes Plugin bei dem wir die Email-Templates nicht anpassen konnten. Mit diesem Plugin ist die Einrichtung und das anpassen der Template super einfach.
Auch bei Fragen zum Intervall wurde uns innerhalb 20 Minuten vom Support geholfen. Vielen Dank an Wolfgang für deine Hilfe und die Antworten auf die weiteren Fragen.

eine absolut sinnvolle Erweiterung für uns, die auch gerne von unseren Kunden genutzt wird.
Und jetzt auch die Möglichkeit zur Massenbearbeitung der Produkte, so dass man es nicht mehr bei jeden Artikel einzeln aktivieren muss, ist sehr sehr hilfreich. Danke!

Das Plugin funktioniert super und lässt sich sehr leicht einrichten. Besonders cool ist, dass man die Mails anpassen kann, die verschickt werden.
Ich hatte noch eine Frage zum besseren Verständnis des Plugins und habe deshalb den Support kontaktiert. Der Support antwortet sehr schnell und auch noch am Abend. Besser geht es nicht. Wenn es wirklich mal eine Störung geben sollte, weiß ich, dass der Support schnell weiterhelfen kann.
Ich kann das Plugin nur empfehlen.

Stock Notification Settings

Email notification
Defines whether stock notifications are generally enabled. Depending on the selected option, the function can be enabled or disabled for individual products.
Allow product orders while email notification is active
Determines whether customers can continue ordering the product while the stock notification form is displayed.
Display Add to Cart button when ordering is not possible
Defines whether the Add to Cart button is hidden or displayed as disabled when the product cannot be ordered.
Hide delivery time information when the email stock notification is active in the storefront
Hides the delivery time information when the stock notification form is displayed in the storefront.
Data protection settings
Determines how the data protection notice or consent to the privacy policy is displayed within the form.
Double opt-in for email notifications
Defines whether customers must confirm their registration using a link in a confirmation email.
Notify customers when at least X items are in stock
Defines the minimum stock level at which the stock notification is sent to registered customers.
Only display the notification form if the product is marked as clearance
Displays the form only for products for which the “Clearance sale” option is enabled in Shopware.

Double Opt-In Settings

For logged-in customers

Defines the period after which an already confirmed email address must be confirmed again.

Stock Notification and Alert Cleanup

Enable cleanup of notified entries
Enables the automatic deletion of entries for which a notification has already been sent.
Days until notification entries are deleted
Defines how many days already notified entries remain stored.
Enable cleanup of registered and non-notified entries
Enables the automatic deletion of older registrations for which no notification has yet been sent.
Days until notification entries are deleted
Defines how many days registered and non-notified entries remain stored.

Error Handling

Email notification when the scheduled task is no longer running
Enables a warning message if the scheduled task responsible for processing notifications is no longer being executed correctly.
Email addresses for notifications
Enter the email addresses to which a warning should be sent if the scheduled task fails.
Days until notification if the scheduled task is no longer running
Defines after how many days without a successful execution of the scheduled task a warning email is sent.

The plugin provides the following CSV import/export profiles:

ACRIS Stock Notification
Import and export registrations for stock notifications.
ACRIS Stock Alert
Import and export registrations for stock alerts.

The profiles include information such as the email address, name, status, notification date and product number.

Flow Builder

Settings > Automation > Flow Builder

Preconfigured flows are automatically created for stock notifications and stock alerts. They are triggered by the following events:

Double opt-in registration
Double opt-in confirmation
Stock notification dispatch
Stock alert registration
Stock alert confirmation
Stock alert dispatch

The included conditions and actions can be individually adjusted in the Flow Builder and extended with additional actions.

Email Templates

Settings > Content > Email Templates

The plugin automatically creates email templates for the following notifications:

Stock notification registration
Double opt-in confirmation for stock notifications
Notification when a product is available again
Stock alert registration
Double opt-in confirmation for stock alerts
Low-stock notification
Warning when a scheduled task is not being executed

The subject, sender, HTML content and plain-text content of the templates can be customized.

What is the technical name of the additional field for the product where the e-mail notification is activated?

acris_stock_notification_email_notification

What is the technical name of the additional field in the product where the e-mail notification is deactivated?

acris_stock_notification_email_notification_inactive

Can I import the additional fields for the product via the API?

Yes, the additional fields can be inserted as normal via the customFields node in the product entity via the API.

What is the technical name for the price?

The sales price incl. VAT can be inserted in the mail template with the variable ‘stockNotificationRecipient.product.price|first.gross’. The net price can be inserted with the variable ‘stockNotificationRecipient.product.price|first.net’. The variable ‘stockNotificationRecipient.product.price|first.listPrice.gross’ can be used to insert the list price incl. VAT

Can the plugin be used for Shopware Composable Frontends?

Yes, we have integrated two storefront route endpoints in the plugin: 1. registration for notification (/store-api/stock-notification/notify) 2. confirmation via DoubleOptin (/store-api/stock-notification/confirm) The form for registering for the notification in the storefront must of course be added to the product page when the storefront page is developed. The information in the additional field acris_stock_notification_email_notification for the product and the plugin settings can be used here.
