About the Extension

Purpose of the plugin

The plugin allows customers to return to the shop page they previously visited after logging in or registering. Customers can continue shopping on a product detail page, in a category or in the search results without having to find the desired page again.

Redirect to the previous page or home page
Redirects can be enabled separately for login and registration. For each process, customers can either return to the previous page or be redirected to the home page.

Let customers choose
An optional dialog asks customers whether they would like to stay on the page they have reached or go to their account after successfully logging in or registering. The dialog appears when an active redirect originates from a storefront page outside checkout. It does not open again when the page is reloaded.

Display custom success messages
Success messages for login and registration can be customized separately using snippets. This allows confirmations to match the shop’s language and tone.

Das Plugin erfüllt die beschriebene Funktion perfekt: Nach der Anmeldung oder Registrierung sind Nutzer nicht mehr auf einer fremden Seite „verloren“, sondern werden automatisch auf die ursprüngliche Seite zurückgeleitet.

Eine tolle Ergänzung wäre ein optionales Popup, in dem der Nutzer wählen kann, ob er direkt zum Account oder auf der aktuellen Seite bleiben möchte.
