Purpose of the Plugin

This plugin extends the default mobile navigation in Shopware with additional features designed to improve usability and provide a more modern navigation experience on smartphones and tablets. Flexible display options, compact menu structures, and extensive design customization settings help optimize the mobile user experience.

Flexible Navigation Display
Different display types are available for the mobile navigation, including a standard navigation and a dropdown navigation. A compact navigation layout provides direct access to subcategories and supports navigation within multi-level category structures. In addition, extra category trees can be integrated into the navigation to make further shop content accessible. Optional content such as payment and shipping information can also be displayed directly within the navigation.

Extended Navigation Options for Desktop Devices
In addition to the mobile features, the plugin provides several enhancements for desktop navigation. These include alternative dropdown layouts, a sticky navigation, and the option to display the mobile burger menu on desktop devices.

Performance Optimization for Large Category Structures
For extensive category and navigation structures, the plugin supports lazy loading of subcategories. Additional navigation levels are only loaded when required, helping to improve performance. The feature can be configured for different navigation levels and supports the efficient display of large category trees.

Individual Desing Options
The off-canvas navigation can be customized through various settings to match the appearance of the shop. Available options include different opening animations, display variants, and configuration settings for colors, backgrounds, text colors, borders, and hover effects.

Open the Plugin Manager via Settings > System > Plugins

General Settings

Menu Type
Select the display type of the mobile navigation (e.g. standard navigation or dropdown navigation).
Lazy Loading
Loads subcategories only when a category is opened to improve navigation performance for large category structures.
Lazy Loading from Level
Defines the navigation level from which subcategories are loaded using lazy loading.
Compact Mobile Navigation
Provides more direct access to subcategories within the mobile navigation.
Always Show Root Category
Ensures that the main navigation is displayed again after a page reload.

Category Images

Display Category Image
Enables the display of category images or icons within the navigation.
Note: Icons can be configured in the respective category under General > Custom Fields > Mobile Menu.
Display Category Image for Levels
Defines on which navigation levels category images or icons are displayed.

Desktop Navigation

Display Mobile Burger Menu in Desktop Navigation (left of navigation)
Displays the mobile burger menu within the desktop navigation.
Display Mobile Menu Text on Desktop
