Purpose of the plugin

This plugin provides shop owners with a clear statistics extension directly within the Shopware admin panel. It helps to better understand key trends in the shop and clearly evaluate key metrics such as turnover, orders, visitors, customers and conversion rates. This makes it easier to analyse shop data, track trends and identify opportunities for optimisation more quickly.

Clear statistics dashboard
The plugin displays key metrics in a clear dashboard. These include, amongst others, turnover figures, orders, average order value, conversion rate, as well as visitor and session data. This gives shop owners a quick overview of their shop’s current performance.

Flexible analyses and reports
Statistical reports can be customised and tailored to your specific requirements. You can select various key performance indicators, dimensions, time periods and comparison periods. The analyses can be presented, for example, by sales channel, product, category, customer, customer group, country or order status. In addition, the statistical data can be displayed in various chart types, such as line, bar, column or pie charts. Statistical reports can also be exported as CSV files for further use or documentation.

Comparison of key metrics
With freely selectable comparison periods, current values can be directly compared with previous periods. This makes it easier to contextualise trends in the shop and track changes in turnover, orders, visitors or conversion rates.

Privacy-friendly tracking
The plugin offers cookie consent integration for visitor tracking. The tracking data can be stored directly in the shop database and thus remains within your own shop environment. This makes it easier to adapt the statistics tracking to your own data protection requirements.

Installation

Open the Plugin Manager via Settings > System > Plugins
Upload, install and activate the plugin

Statistics Dashboard

Settings > Extensions > Statistics and Reports > Dashboard or Marketing > Statistics > Dashboard

Key metrics are clearly displayed here. You can select the desired reporting period using the date selector. In addition, comparison periods can be used to compare current values with previous periods.

Manage statistics reports

Settings > Extensions > Statistics and Reports > Statistics or Marketing > Statistics > Statistics

In the statistics reports section, you can create and manage your own reports. Click the button to add a new report to create a custom statistics report.

For each report, basic details such as title, description and position can be maintained. The position determines the order in which the reports are displayed.

Selecting metrics
For a report, you can select which metric is to be analysed. Metrics available include those from the areas of orders, customers, conversion and turnover.

Select dimension
In addition to the metric, a dimension can be selected according to which the data is grouped or analysed. This allows the statistics to be structured in a targeted manner.

Select chart type
You can select a suitable chart type to display the analysis. Depending on the report, various visualisations are available, for example:

Line chart
vertical bar chart
horizontal bar chart
pie chart

Set the period and comparison period
You can define a custom time period for the analysis. You can also select a comparison period to better assess trends in key performance indicators. This allows you, for example, to compare current sales, orders or visitor numbers with those from previous days, weeks, months or years.

Saving and exporting reports
Once all settings have been configured, the data is displayed both as a chart and as a detailed table. The report can then be saved and will subsequently be available in the admin area. Statistical reports can also be exported as CSV files for further use or documentation.

Configure cookie consent

Extensions > My Extensions > Statistics and Reports > Configure
In the plugin configuration, you can specify whether cookie consent is required for tracking.
There are two options available:

Yes: Consent is required
The tracking is implemented as a statistics cookie requiring consent. Visitors must consent to its use before the relevant tracking data is collected.
No: Specify as a functional cookie
The tracking is treated as a functional cookie. In this case, no separate consent via the cookie consent form is required.

The tracking information is stored exclusively in the standard shop database and is not shared with third parties by the plugin.
