Purpose of the plugin
The plugin extends the quantity selection in the Shopware storefront with a convenient input using plus and minus buttons. Customers can quickly increase or decrease the desired product quantity or enter it directly in the input field. The advanced quantity selection is available on product detail pages and optionally in product listings, Shopping Experiences and the shopping cart.
Conveniently select quantities
The standard quantity selector is extended with plus and minus buttons. Customers can therefore adjust the desired quantity directly using the buttons or enter a value manually in the quantity field. The minimum purchase quantity, maximum purchase quantity and purchase steps defined for the product are taken into account.
Advanced quantity selection in product overviews
The quantity input can also be enabled in product listings and Shopping Experiences. This allows customers to define the desired quantity directly in the product overview and then add the product to the shopping cart.
Flexibly customize the listing layout
For product overviews, the size ratio between the quantity selector and the buy button can be configured. You can choose between an equal split or a layout with two thirds for the quantity selector and one third for the buy button. The buy button is displayed as a space-saving shopping cart icon.
Adjust quantities directly in the shopping cart
The product quantity can also be conveniently changed in the shopping cart and off-canvas cart using the plus and minus buttons or the input field. This allows customers to adjust the desired quantities directly during the ordering process.
Optimized display on different devices
The quantity selector is optimized for different screen sizes and provides a clear user experience on desktop and mobile devices. Additional labels and ARIA output also improve the accessibility of the quantity input.
