About the Extension

Purpose of the plugin

By default, Shopware only allows a single email address per customer to be used for sending system and transactional emails. In many scenarios, however, it is necessary to include additional recipients, for example for internal forwarding, accounting or alternative contact persons.

This plugin extends Shopware to allow the management of multiple email addresses per customer and address, and enables these to be used specifically within email workflows.

Extended email addresses for customers and addresses
The plugin adds additional fields for email addresses and CC recipients to the customer and address management. Multiple email addresses can be stored per customer, which can be clearly managed in the admin panel. Optionally, additional email addresses can also be entered directly in the storefront by the customer.

Integration into email processes and Flow Builder
The additional email addresses can be used directly in Shopware email processes. New options are available in the Flow Builder to select additional recipients or CC addresses from customer data. This allows emails to be sent flexibly to multiple recipients without having to adapt existing processes.

Flexible control via rules
The plugin extends the Rule Builder with additional conditions that can be used to check whether a customer or a customer address has additional email addresses or CC recipients.
