Keep Your Margins in Sight – Automatically and in Real-Time

The Margin Warner Plugin for Shopware 6 helps you avoid unprofitable sales by alerting you to critical margins directly in the administration.

Main Features

Instant Margin Warnings

• Order Overview: Emoji indicators (green, yellow, red, red question mark) show the margin status of each order at a glance
• Product Overview: New margin column shows status for all products including variants
• Order Details: Detailed margin analysis with breakdown by products and explanatory hint in worst_product mode
• Product Details: Margin check for individual products and all variants

Intelligent Traffic Light System

• Green: Good margin – everything is fine
• Yellow: Low margin – attention required
• Red: Critical margin – action needed!
• Red Question Mark: Unknown – purchase price missing or margin is inflated

Intelligent Margin Detection

• Missing Purchase Prices: Products without purchase price are marked as "unknown" instead of showing 0% margin
• Inflated Margins: Orders with good total margin are marked as "unknown" if at least one item has no purchase price
• Context-Dependent Prioritization: Different priorities are used for evaluation depending on the view (product/order)
• Worst-Product Hint: In worst_product mode, an explanation is shown below the total margin indicating why the order is rated as critical/warning/unknown

Flexible Thresholds

Define your own margin limits:

• Absolute Margin: Minimum euro amount per product
• Percentage Margin: Minimum percentage of sales price
• Two-Tier System: Warning (yellow) and critical (red)

Display Modes

• Total Margin: Shows the margin of the entire order (default)
• Worst Product: Shows the product with the worst margin – ideal for immediately identifying critical individual products

When is which status displayed in the order overview?

Display Mode: Total Margin

• Red: Total margin is critical
• Yellow: Total margin is low
• Unknown: Total margin is good, but at least 1 item without purchase price → margin is inflated
• Green: Total margin is good, all purchase prices available

Display Mode: Worst Product

• Red: At least 1 item with critical margin
• Yellow: At least 1 item with low margin (no critical)
• Unknown: At least 1 item without purchase price (no critical/low)
• Green: All items have good margins and purchase prices

Priority: Red > Yellow > Unknown > Green

Note: "Unknown" means that the displayed margin may be inflated because at least one item has no purchase price.
