Setup

Install and activate the extension
Go to Settings → System → Plugins → Axoli Cookie Consent Manager and select the desired sales channel
Enable Activate for sales channel
Configure texts, buttons and optional tracking services
Clear the storefront cache and recompile the theme

The extension builds on the native cookie infrastructure. Optional cookies are loaded only after explicit consent. When disabled for a sales channel, the default consent remains unchanged.

Note: When using external services (e.g. Google), the respective providers must be listed in the shop's privacy policy.

No. The plugin runs 100% locally on your own Shopware server. You do not need an external account, there are no pageview or traffic limits, and there are no hidden third-party SaaS costs.

Are cookies from other installed Shopware plugins detected automatically?

Yes. The plugin integrates seamlessly with the native Shopware 6 cookie architecture. All extensions that register their cookies according to Shopware standards are automatically included. In addition, you can easily add custom cookies, scripts, and groups via the administration.

Is the cookie banner compliant with GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive?

Yes. Non-essential cookies and tracking scripts are strictly blocked until the visitor gives explicit consent (true Opt-In). Furthermore, all buttons ("Accept all", "Reject / Essential only", "Settings") can be styled equally to avoid non-compliant dark patterns.

How can visitors change or withdraw their cookie consent later?

Visitors can reopen the consent settings at any time—either via an optional floating privacy icon in the corner of the screen or via a simple link in your shop footer, without reloading the page.
