Visitors trust shops that other people trust. Bay20 Customer Counter displays the total number of registered customers directly in your storefront header, so every visitor sees at a glance how many people already shop with you.

Lightweight and fast

The customer count is cached (5 minutes by default), so your shop stays fast even with heavy traffic. No extra JavaScript, no external services, no tracking.

Fully configurable

Enable or disable the counter per sales channel, set your own label text, and choose how often the number is refreshed – all from the plugin configuration in the Administration.

Theme-friendly

The counter uses Bootstrap utility classes and its own BEM CSS classes and Twig blocks, so it adapts to your theme and is easy to restyle or extend.

Works out of the box

Install, activate, done. The counter appears next to the search bar on every storefront page, with English and German labels included.

Does the plugin slow down my shop?

No. The count is cached for 5 minutes by default, so only one lightweight database query runs per cache period.

Can I hide the counter in some sales channels?

Yes. Select the sales channel at the top of the plugin configuration and turn off "Show customer counter in the header".

Which customers are counted?

All customer accounts in your shop, including guest accounts created at checkout.

Can I change the text above the number?

Yes. Enter your own text in "Counter label", or edit the snippet bay20CustomerCounter.label under Settings > Snippets.

Does the plugin store or transmit personal data?

No. It only reads the total number of customer records and shows that number. No names, emails or other data are output or sent anywhere.
