Easily comply with EU Regulation 2025/1960
From 27 September 2026, Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 requires new labels in online commerce: the harmonised notice on the legal guarantee rights (Annex I) for all goods, and the GARAN guarantee label (Annex II) for products with a free manufacturer durability guarantee of more than 2 years. This extension automatically adds both labels to your shop, correctly formatted and compliant.
Legal guarantee notice with zero maintenance effort
After activation, the official, non-editable notice appears on every product detail page and on the checkout confirmation page. The language automatically follows the shop language (all 24 EU official languages, English fallback). The included QR code links to the official "Your Europe" portal and is also provided as a regular link (accessibility).
GARAN guarantee label: per product or centrally per manufacturer
Maintain the GARAN label in the way that fits your catalogue:
- Per product via custom fields: confirm the guarantee, enter duration in years, brand, and model identifier. Done.
- Centrally per manufacturer: store the guarantee once on the manufacturer, optionally restrict it to specific categories via a clickable category tree (subcategories are included automatically). The model identifier is taken automatically from the product's manufacturer number, optionally with the product number as an additional fallback.
Product-level data always takes precedence; individual products can be excluded from the manufacturer guarantee via a toggle. A completeness check ensures that an incomplete or non-qualifying label is never displayed.
Thoughtful presentation
- Selectable position: below the buy box or below the product description
- Optional accordion display: only the official blue header banner is visible; the content expands on click (deliberate opt-in with confirmation dialog)
- In checkout, the GARAN label appears space-saving on each qualifying cart line item, and the legal guarantee notice is displayed clearly next to the order summary
- Also covers purchase flows that bypass the product detail page (quick buy, cart from listing)
Official graphics, clean implementation
The label graphics are taken unchanged from the EU Official Journal. For the GARAN label, only the three elements that are editable under the regulation are replaced (duration, brand, model identifier). Variants inherit all relevant data from the parent product, and the shop cache is updated automatically when changes are made.
