Integrating the Facebook Tracking Pixel easily – a must for anyone serious about SMM (Social Media Marketing)! With the Facebook Pixel, you can measure various interactions of Facebook users with your shop and use them for targeted marketing on the social media platform Facebook. Besides tracking page views, the Biloba Facebook Pixel app also tracks which products are added to the cart and which products are purchased. With this information, you can launch targeted campaigns without wasting precious advertising budget on unnecessarily broad advertising campaigns.

The following events are tracked:
- "PageView" on all pages
- "ViewContent" on detail pages
- "AddToCart"
- "InitiateCheckout"
- "AddPaymentInfo"

Note: Server-side tracking can only capture detailed customer information if the customer is logged in. Additionally, the Facebook Tracking Pixel provides the option to perform tracking server-side in the shop using the Conversion API. The following conversion events are tracked:

- "InitiateCheckout"
- "Purchase"
- "CompleteRegistration"

Strong in Data Protection
Data protection and GDPR are important topics, especially for tracking and marketing apps. With the Facebook Pixel app, you can implement the use of the service as GDPR-compliant as possible. The app supports the Shopware 6 cookie consent tool so that the user can decide whether Facebook cookies are allowed to be set or not. Additionally, the app supports an opt-out link (see installation instructions) so that users can opt out of website tracking.
