About the Extension

Customers want to send you files — job applications, print data, receipts, photos of damaged goods. Without a proper form, all of that ends up as e-mail ping-pong or never reaches you at all. File Upload Ultimate brings upload forms right into your shop: uploaded via drag & drop, validated server-side, neatly managed.

How it works

In the Admin under "Content > Forms" you compose as many forms as you need from ten field types — from first name and e-mail to select lists, dates and the file upload itself. Every field is required or optional, the order is freely sortable. Place the finished form as a CMS element in your Shopping Experiences or link it via its own URL.

Drag-and-drop dropzone with live checks: wrong file types and oversized files are flagged instantly — explained in plain language, before submitting.
Submissions appear under "Content > Form submissions" and additionally arrive by e-mail — with all files attached or bundled as a ZIP download on demand.
Customer copy: on request or automatically as a confirmation of receipt.

Security nobody can sidestep

The server does not trust file extensions: every file's real content is verified via MIME inspection — a renamed executable is rejected even if it is called "photo.jpg". Per form you decide which of the 14 vetted extensions are allowed, plus limits for file count and size. Uploaded files are stored privately and are never publicly accessible.

GDPR out of the box

Details and files are only transmitted once the customer has actively accepted the privacy policy — the checkbox is never pre-ticked, and the consent wording is stored with its version. A configurable retention period removes old submissions including their files automatically, and uninstalling cleans up completely. Spam protection uses your existing Shopware captchas or Cloudflare Turnstile — a honeypot base protection is always active.

Who is it for?

For every shop that receives more than orders: HR teams with application forms, print shops accepting artwork, merchants handling returns and warranty cases, B2B sellers collecting request and tender documents. It also works as a direct replacement for the default contact form — simply swap the CMS element on your contact page.

English and German are included, and validation messages use Shopware's translatable standard texts. Install, build your form, place the element — done.
