Fair Shipping Costs for Large Orders
Does this sound familiar? A customer orders multiple heavy items but only pays shipping once – even though you need to send several packages. With Shipping by Split, this problem is a thing of the past.
How It Works
The plugin automatically calculates how many packages are needed for an order. It considers:
- Product Weight: Each product has a defined weight
- Package Limit: Each shipping method has a maximum weight per package
- Splitability: Some products can be distributed across multiple packages, others cannot
Two Display Modes
Choose how shipping costs are displayed in the cart:
- Single Price: One total amount (e.g., "Shipping: €15.00")
- Itemized: Separate line items per package (e.g., "Package 1: €5.00, Package 2: €5.00, Package 3: €5.00")
Flexible Calculation Methods
Depending on your requirements, you can choose between weight-based and volume-based calculation. This way, the plugin adapts perfectly to your product range.
