About the Extension

CSV Export for Product Data – Including Automatic Email and FTPS Delivery of Ordered Items

This plugin extends the standard Shopware export with powerful and practical features for exporting product and variant data as CSV files. The focus is on a flexible, real-world export directly from the administration – without the limitations of the standard export.

The key advantage over the standard export:
You can export products directly from the product listing — either based on active filters or via the multi-selection of specific products. In addition, exports can be triggered via the Shopware Flow Builder on order events: when an order is placed (or changes its status), the ordered products are automatically exported and delivered by email or FTPS.

Typical Use Cases

Export filtered product lists
Filter products in the product listing (e.g. by category, manufacturer, active status, or sales channel) and export exactly the resulting list as a CSV file.
Export selected products (multi-selection)
Select specific products or variants in the listing and export only this selection.
Automated exports via the Flow Builder
Trigger CSV exports of the ordered products automatically using the Shopware Flow Builder on order events, e.g. when an order is placed or a payment is completed.
Automatic email or FTPS delivery of ordered items
Automatically trigger a CSV export of the ordered items — e.g. when an order is placed or as soon as payment is marked as "paid" — and send the file directly via email or FTPS, for example to suppliers, warehouses, or fulfillment partners.
Note: files are only transferred encrypted via explicit FTPS (AUTH TLS, usually port 21). Plain, unencrypted FTP is not supported – your server must offer FTPS. The server certificate is verified by default; self-signed certificates can be allowed in the plugin configuration.
Data maintenance, backups & system integrations
Use exports for catalog backups, internal reporting, or for transferring product data to ERP, PIM, or external feed systems.

Can I trigger the export on product changes?

No. The Flow export is triggered on order events and exports the ordered products. Product data is exported manually from the product listing - filtered or via multi-selection.

Which data can be exported?

Product master data, variants, prices, stock, manufacturer, categories, properties, and custom fields (depending on configuration).

Is plain, unencrypted FTP supported?

No. Files are only transferred via explicit FTPS (AUTH TLS, usually port 21). If the server does not offer FTPS, the connection test and the upload fail. The server certificate is verified by default; self-signed certificates can be allowed in the plugin configuration.

Are variants included in the export?

Yes. A profile setting lets you automatically include all variants of a parent product whenever that parent product is exported.

Can the export of ordered items be sent automatically?

Yes. Using the Shopware Flow Builder, you can automatically trigger a CSV export of the ordered items and send it via email or FTPS - e.g. when an order is placed or as soon as payment is marked as "paid".
