Delivery Estimate & Order Countdown
Description
Highlights
About the Extension
Delivery Estimate & Order Cutoff Countdown shows your customers a concrete delivery date right on the product detail page – not the usual vague "delivery time 1–3 business days", but a real date or date window calculated from the order cutoff, weekends, holidays, product lead time and the shipping method's transit time. Alongside it, a countdown shows how long there is left to order for dispatch today.
Clarity about the delivery date is one of the strongest conversion levers in the checkout: a shopper who knows when the goods arrive is more likely to buy – and a visible order cutoff ("Order within 2 hrs 14 min for dispatch today") creates exactly the right urgency without feeling pushy.
Your benefit as a shop owner
- Higher conversion through a concrete, believable delivery date instead of vague ranges.
- Fewer drop-offs, because the customer knows when it ships before clicking "Add to cart".
- An order cutoff countdown creates real, fair urgency – no fake timers.
- Realistic dates: weekends and your holidays are skipped automatically.
- Fully configurable per sales channel – ideal for multi-channel and multi-language shops.
Feature set
- Concrete delivery window on the product detail page, calculated from cutoff, lead time and shipping transit time.
- Three display modes to choose from: the range ("Delivery between Fri and Tue"), the latest date only ("Arrives around Tue, 28 July") or a relative phrase ("Arrives this week" / "Arrives tomorrow").
- Colour coding by delivery duration: fast deliveries green, medium orange, slow red – thresholds and colours configurable per sales channel.
- Order cutoff countdown as a lightweight storefront plugin ("Order within X hrs Y min for dispatch today").
- Weekends and a configurable holiday list are skipped in the calculation.
- Product lead time via a custom field (business days) per item – created on install.
- Shipping transit time taken straight from Shopware delivery times (days, weeks, hours).
- Timezone and order cutoff time configurable per sales channel.
- Complete snippets in German and English.
