About the Extension

Age Verification (16+ / 18+) enforces age limits (16+/18+) in Shopware 6 — on the product, in the storefront and server-side at checkout. Instead of a pure JavaScript popup, the plugin blocks the order until age verification succeeds. Built for alcohol, tobacco, knives, FSK media and other age-restricted catalogues.

Set a minimum age per product (empty / 16 / 18). The product detail page shows a notice badge. An optional storefront dialog can ask for verification early; the checkout gate enforces it server-side. After purchase, the required age level and confirmation flag are stored as order custom fields for ERP and carrier age-check labels (DHL, DPD, GLS).

Where to configure it: Extensions > My Extensions > Age Verification (16+ / 18+) > Configuration, per sales channel — that card holds the checkout mode, the storefront dialog and how long a confirmation is remembered. The age limit of a single product is a custom field on the product itself: Catalogues > Products > (a product) > Specifications > Custom fields.
