About the Extension
With the Product Advisor for Shopware 6, you can create powerful, interactive purchase guides that lead customers directly to suitable products.
The product advisor is based on a flexible decision tree built from questions and answers. Customers are guided step by step through individually defined decision paths, from the first question to the final product selection.
You can create any number of sets, each representing its own advisory logic. Every set starts with an initial question, whose answers either lead to further sub-questions or directly display matching products.
The product advisor supports two different selection mechanisms:
Property-based filtering
Each answer can add one or more product properties. The displayed products are dynamically filtered based on the combined properties, even across multiple property groups.
Product streams
Alternatively, an answer can directly output a product stream. In this case, all previous answers are ignored and only the products from the selected stream are displayed.
The complete configuration is done in the administration under Catalog → Product Advisor.
In the Shopping Experiences, the product advisor can be added as a dedicated commerce element and linked to the desired set.
The result is a clear and intuitive purchase guide in the storefront that simplifies complex product selection.
