About the Extension

Make time-limited promotions reliably visible

Sales, holiday offers or clearance events need to be visible in the shop for exactly as long as they run — and disappear automatically afterwards, without anyone having to step in on the start or end date.

Promo Topbar does exactly that: a configurable promotion bar in the header that appears and disappears automatically at the scheduled time.

Multiple campaigns can be scheduled in advance and assigned per sales channel. If two or more overlap, they now stack instead of excluding each other — priority only controls the display order. Each campaign gets its own colours, an optional call-to-action link, and an existing discount code customers can copy with one click, plus a close button that's remembered per customer.

That means promotions run reliably on schedule — including correct cache invalidation behind the scenes, so the bar never appears too early or lingers too long.
