About the Extension
Easily implement the new EU labeling requirement in your shop
Starting September 27, 2026, retailers must uniformly label the statutory warranty and—where a manufacturer’s warranty exceeds two years—the warranty. This plugin integrates the official EU labels directly into your Shopware store without requiring you to manage graphics yourself or connect to external services.
The labels are automatically populated from your product and manufacturer data and displayed in the storefront’s language—in 24 languages and optionally in color or black-and-white. The GARAN warranty label appears automatically as soon as a manufacturer’s warranty exceeding two years is on file, including the warranty period, warranty provider, and model ID.
Everything is managed via clear input forms directly on the product and manufacturer pages, without having to go through the confusing standard custom-field view. Manufacturer values are automatically applied to products, and individual products can have different warranty details. Where data is missing, configurable fallbacks are used, such as the manufacturer’s name as the warranty provider or the item number as the model identifier.
For each sales channel, you specify where the labels appear: product detail page, category listing, shopping cart, and checkout; and whether GARAN is displayed in a compact or full format on the product page. All assets are stored locally within the plugin: no external API, no webhooks, and no transfer of product or customer data to third parties.
