Configuration manual

After installing and activating CWS Hide Product Prices, the plugin can be configured directly in the Shopware administration.

1. Open the plugin configuration

Go to Extensions > My extensions.
Find CWS Hide Product Prices.
Click on the configuration button.

2. Configure global price visibility

In the plugin configuration, you can decide whether all prices should be hidden globally in the storefront. If this option is enabled, product prices will be hidden for visitors according to your configuration.

3. Configure selected products

If you do not want to hide all prices globally, you can hide prices only for selected products. Open a product in the Shopware administration and use the available custom fields to define whether the price should be hidden for this product.

4. Add a replacement text

You can define a custom text that will be displayed instead of the product price. For example, you can show a message such as “Price on request” or “Please log in to see the price”.

5. Configure category and customer group rules

The plugin allows you to control price visibility by category and customer group. This is useful if prices should only be visible for specific customer groups or only in selected areas of your catalog.

6. Optional login button

You can enable an optional login button on product detail pages. This helps customers navigate directly to the login page when prices are only visible after login.

7. Redirect after login

If enabled, customers can be redirected back to the product detail page after logging in. This creates a smoother shopping experience for users who need to log in before seeing prices.

8. Check the storefront

After saving the configuration, clear the cache if necessary and check your storefront. Verify the product listing, product detail pages, search suggestions, product boxes, and price filter area.

Important note

The plugin hides prices in the storefront display. Please test your shop carefully after configuration, especially if you use custom themes, third-party listing extensions, or customized product detail templates.
