Installation

Install and activate Product Attachments Pro.
Open the Shopware Administration.
Go to Catalogues → Product Attachments Pro.

Add an attachment to a product

Open the desired product.
Open the Attachments section.
Click Add Attachment.
Select a media file.
Enter a title and optional description.
Select the attachment category and type.
Configure visibility and access rules.
Save the attachment.

Visibility options

Each attachment can be configured as:

Available to everyone
Available only to logged-in customers
Available only to selected customer groups

Attachments that are not accessible to a customer are not displayed in the storefront.

Validity period

Use Valid from and Valid until to control when an attachment is available.

After the validity period has expired, the attachment is automatically hidden and cannot be downloaded.

Download agreement

Enable Require agreement when customers must accept specific terms before downloading a file.

Enter the agreement text and save the attachment.

Categories and types

Open Catalogues → Product Attachments Pro to manage attachment categories and file types.

Categories help organize documents such as:

Datasheets
Manuals
Certificates
Technical documents
Product images

CSV import

Open the Import section.
Select a valid CSV file.
Check the imported rows.
Start the import.
Review imported, skipped and invalid records.

Product numbers are used to assign attachments to the correct products.

CSV export

Open the attachment overview and select Export to download the attachment data as a CSV file.

The dashboard displays:

Can I define when an attachment is available?

Yes. You can set a valid-from and valid-until date for each attachment. Outside this period, the file is hidden and cannot be downloaded.

Are protected files accessible through a direct URL?

No. Restricted attachments are validated through a protected download route. Customers without permission cannot download the file.
