About the Extension

The Problem: Managing Attributes in Shopware 6 Is Tedious

Anyone who runs a Shopware 6 store with many different product groups is familiar with the problem: For every new product, all applicable attributes must be painstakingly searched for and assigned one by one from scratch. Anyone managing 20 product groups, each with 10–25 attributes, knows how time-consuming and error-prone this is. A forgotten attribute is often only noticed long after the product has been published.

The solution: Attribute templates

With this plugin, you can create attribute templates once for each product group—for example, “T-shirts,” “Tools,” or “Electronics”—and assign the relevant attributes to that template.

When you open the attributes dialog in the product backend, you can then select the appropriate template. With a single click, all attributes from this template are displayed and made available for selection. You can also permanently link the template to the product—this way, it will load automatically the next time you open it.

Especially handy: The template can also be used directly in the variant configurator. Instead of laboriously gathering all property groups individually there, simply select your template—and the included properties are immediately available for variant creation. This not only saves time but also ensures that no property is overlooked during variant configuration.
