This plugin makes the results of the search results page indexable for search engines. The robots meta instruction for search result pages is set from 'noindex' to 'index'. For a meaningful representation in the SERPs, the meta title and meta description can be dynamically configured using placeholders. There are 3 placeholders available for this:- {0} Store Name - Name of the sales channel
- {1} Search Query - Actual search query
- {2} Lowest Price - Lowest product price for the search results
Application example
Enter the term 'modern chest of drawers' in the shop search.
Plugin configuration:
Custom meta title: Buy {1} cheap on {0}
Custom meta description: Great deals on {1} on {0}. Buy online for as little as $ {2}.
Result:
Meta-Title: Buy cheap modern dressers at myshop.com
Meta description: Great offers for modern dressers on myshop.com. Buy online for as little as $ 89.99.
