About the Extension
Launch to as many customers as you can actually supply
A waitlist is easy to fill and hard to release. Mail everyone at once and you sell out in minutes, disappoint the rest, and spend the week answering why the product is gone again. This extension releases the list in waves that match your real stock, in the order people signed up, so the customers you notify are the customers you can serve.
Turn on pre-launch for a product, and the product page gains a signup form with a countdown and a consent checkbox. Every product also gets its own shareable pre-launch page. When you release the product, the people on the list hear about it. What happens between those two moments is where the paid plans live: waves matched to stock, a timed email sequence, referrals and a raffle, and numbers afterwards.
What it does for your shop
Notify only as many people as you have stock for
With the Pro plan a launch is released in waves. You have forty units, the first forty people on the list are notified, and nobody else is. When stock comes back the next wave goes out automatically, in signup order, and when stock runs out the waves stop. No overselling, no disappointed majority, and no manual list-splitting in a spreadsheet.
A launch is a sequence, not a single email
The Pro plan sends a timed series instead of one message: seven days before launch, one day before, and once after. People who signed up weeks ago are reminded that they did, and arrive warm instead of surprised. Every stage is idempotent, so a re-run never sends the same message twice.
Every variant is its own launch
Shoppers do not wait for a product, they wait for a size and a colour. The Pro plan keeps subscribers segmented per variant, so the people waiting for the one variant you can ship are the ones who hear about it.
Waiting customers bring new ones
With the Commercial plan every subscriber gets a personal referral link. A referral is only rewarded once it is verified, and the verification is signed, so a forged link earns nothing. You can also draw raffle winners from everyone on the list, once per raffle, with no double draws.
Launch at an exact moment, without being there
Set the date and time and the Commercial plan releases the product itself, unattended. If plans change you can cancel every pending notification for a product in one action, before anything is sent.
See what the launch actually did
The Commercial plan records sends, opens and clicks per launch, so the next launch is planned on numbers instead of memory. Switch tracking off and the pixel and the redirect keep working for the shopper while nothing new is recorded.
Consent, unsubscribe and data requests
Signup requires an explicit consent checkbox and records which consent version was accepted. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe. Access and erasure requests are handled from the administration, and the subscriber list exports to CSV whenever you need it.
Plans
Two independent plans, bought from inside the administration and cancellable monthly. Pro adds the stock-matched waves, the email sequence and variant segmentation. Commercial adds referrals, the raffle, unattended scheduled launches, the newsletter connection and the analytics. They do not depend on each other: you can hold either one, or both.

Installation
- Install and activate the extension in the Extension Manager.
- Open Catalogues > Products and pick the product you want to launch.
Putting a product into pre-launch
- On the product, switch Pre-launch on.
- Enter the expected launch date. It drives the countdown on the product page and the timing of the email sequence.
- Save. The product page now shows the signup form, and the product also gets its own pre-launch page at /pre-launch/ followed by its product number.
- Repeat for every storefront language you sell in. The switch is stored per language.
Releasing to the waitlist
- Open the product and choose Launch now to notify the waitlist immediately.
- Everyone on the list receives the launch email. Each email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
- Subscribers can be exported to CSV at any time from the product's waitlist tab.
The Pro plan
Buy the Pro plan from Extensions > My extensions. It adds three things to the same screens:
- Stock-matched waves - instead of notifying everyone, enter how much stock you have. The first wave goes to that many people, in signup order. Later waves run automatically as stock returns, and stop when it is gone.
- Email sequence - enable the stages you want: seven days before launch, one day before, and once after. Each stage can be switched on or off and given its own offset in days.
- Variant segmentation - subscribers are kept per variant, so a launch of one size notifies only the people waiting for that size.
The Commercial plan
Bought separately and independent of Pro. It adds:
- Referrals - every subscriber gets a personal link, and a referral is rewarded only after it is verified.
- Raffle - draw winners from the waitlist. A second draw returns the same winners and sends nothing.
- Scheduled launch - set an exact date and time and the product releases itself.
- Cancel pending - stop every unsent notification for a product in one action.
- Analytics - sends, opens and clicks per launch, with a pending-only filter on the subscriber list.
- Newsletter - add waitlist customers to your newsletter, following your shop's double opt-in setting.
Troubleshooting
- No signup form on the product page - check that Pre-launch is on for that product in the storefront language you are viewing.
- Waves notify everyone at once - the wave size comes from the stock figure you entered; without it the launch is a single send.
- A sequence stage did not fire - stages are driven by the expected launch date and the scheduled task; check that both are set.
- A Pro or Commercial screen is missing - the plan is not active. Buy or renew it in Extensions > My extensions.
