Pre-Launch Waitlist for Shopware 6 helps merchants build demand before a product goes live by allowing shoppers to subscribe for launch notifications directly from the product page.
With this extension, merchants can mark products as “Coming Soon” while keeping them visible in the storefront. The standard Add-to-Cart button is replaced with a “Notify me when available” option, allowing interested shoppers to join an email waitlist with a simple, frictionless flow.
Once the product becomes available for purchase, the extension automatically sends a one-time launch notification email to all subscribed shoppers. Each email includes the product name, image, and a direct link to the product page—bringing warm, high-intent traffic back to the store at the perfect moment.
The plugin includes a dedicated admin interface to manage pre-launch products and subscribers. Merchants can enable or disable the waitlist globally or per product, customize storefront texts (button labels, confirmation messages, and “Coming Soon” badges), and optionally display an expected launch date. A built-in dashboard shows subscriber counts per product, detailed subscriber lists, and CSV export options for reporting or marketing analysis.
Designed for performance and scalability, the extension works across all sales channels, supports product variants, and handles large subscriber lists efficiently. It uses Shopware’s native email system, follows storefront conventions for full theme compatibility, and stores only essential data to remain GDPR-compliant.
This v1 release focuses exclusively on Pre-Launch Waitlists, keeping the setup simple and reliable. Future add-ons such as Back-in-Stock alerts, price-drop notifications, pre-orders, and additional notification channels can be added later—without changing the core workflow.
