Browser push for Shopware 6 – cart, back in stock, price drop & campaigns

Description

About the Extension

Bring your visitors back – with browser push notifications straight to the

desktop or smartphone, with no app required. DmitsNotification adds five

revenue-driving use cases to your shop, each of which can be enabled separately.

Recover abandoned carts: if a visitor adds items but does not check out, a push

message with a deep link back to the cart is sent after a freely configurable

period of inactivity. Placeholders such as first item, item count and cart total

personalise the message. Each cart is reminded only once (optionally a second

time after X hours).

Back in stock and price drop: customers subscribe on the product page of a

sold-out item and are notified as soon as it is available again. A product can

also be watched for price drops. Both are variant-safe: when a variant inherits

its price from the parent product, the effective price is resolved correctly –

the reference price and the trigger use identical logic.

Order-status updates: logged-in customers with a subscription are informed about

status changes (e.g. "in progress", "shipped") – a genuine service that raises

satisfaction and reduces support requests.

Manual campaigns: in the admin you create push campaigns with title, text, image

and target URL and send them instantly or scheduled – to all subscribers or

segmented by customers or guests and sales channel.

GDPR-friendly by design: the native browser prompt is never triggered

automatically. Instead, a subtle opt-in banner appears (position and timing fully

configurable, e.g. only after add-to-cart) – only a click triggers the native

prompt. After a successful order, an optional one-time, service-focused re-ask is

available. Click tracking is included and can be fully disabled for privacy

reasons.

Lean technology: the entire Web Push cryptography (VAPID/ES256 and the RFC 8291

payload encryption) is implemented in-house – no external Composer libraries.

Sending runs asynchronously via the Shopware message queue, and invalid

subscriptions are cleaned up automatically. VAPID keys are generated automatically

on installation.
