Create returns / complaints / returns in customer account

Offer your customers the possibility to create returns directly from their customer account. Customers can enter the number of items, a reason and optional comments. The reasons (FAG, article defective etc) can be adjusted in the plugin configuration. You can also exclude returns in general for certain customer groups and Limit the creation of returns in terms of time (e.g. 30 days after dispatch).

The customer is guided step-by-step through the process of a return shipment. For this purpose he can also request a return document as PDF and attach it to the package. As shop operator you will receive on request an email as soon as a return has been created.

Your customers also have the option of creating and printing a DHL Returns label directly.

DHL return label

You can offer your customers that they can directly use a DHL Returns Label for their order and print them out.

You can enable / disable the creation of labels and you can view all logs logged. In most cases, a glance at the logs is sufficient to detect possible errors. The logs are located in the standard directory for logs within Shopware. Starting from the root directory this would be "/var/log".

Please make sure to maintain the weights of the articles in the backend correctly. The weight on the label is calculated automatically according to the selected articles.

DHL return label via DHL Business Customer Portal

You can use the interface to the DHL business customer portal to create a Have the returns label generated. The label automatically contains you as the recipient and the customer as sender.

To generate DHL labels, you need access to the DHL business customer portal. You must also be authorized to process shipments via the Business Customer Portal. Please contact your DHL customer advisor for activation.

DHL return label via DHL Business Customer Portal - live settings

Customer/EKP number:
Your 10-digit DHL customer number.

Participation number:
A 2-digit number for the breakdown of accounts by location, seasonal business or different conditions. The participation numbers of the different DHL products correspond to the last two digits of the corresponding settlement numbers.

Return recipient:
In the DHL Business Customer Portal in the "Returns" menu in the "Settings" submenu, all return recipient names (=ReceiverIds) are listed. Please enter the desired "Receiver Id" on.

DHL Business Customer Portal user:
The user from the DHL business customer portal. The user must be authorized for returns! Ideally, you should create an additional user for creating labels.

DHL Business Customer Portal password:
The password of the above mentioned user. The password validity of a "user" is 90 days. The password validity of a "system user" is 365 days. With a "system user" a Registration on the DHL business customer portal not possible.

Developer ID and developer portal password:
The developer ID can be found in the DHL developer portal under "My account" (simply enter your name in the top right-hand corner click). For the password, use the password you used to log in to the developer portal.
