Auctions - Items sold by auction
Compete with eBay and sell your items in an auction directly in your store. Attract your customers with favorable 1, - euro auctions and awaken the desire to gamble.
You can mark any item in the store as an "auction" and create an Enter the date that determines the end of the auction. The start price of the auction is always the price of the article. So you can order articles with 1,- Euro or start with your shopping meal. The minimum step of a raise (e.g. 1,- Euro) you can in the plugin settings.
Your customers can now participate in the auction and bid against each other until the end date. The auction will take place according to the proven and well-known principle of eBay.
Every bidder can place his maximum bid. If another bidder bids an amount that is smaller than the maximum amount of the current bidder, then the current bidder outbids the new bidder immediately and automatically again. Only when the new bidder has reached the maximum amount of the current bidder has reached, it will really be outbid.
As soon as the auction ends on the end date, the highest bidder will automatically receive an email. The highest bidder can now enter the Item details add the item to the shopping cart at its price and complete the purchase.
Your customer via checkbox (can be deactivated in the plugin configuration) when placing a bid, it is pointed out that each bid is binding and can be changed at any time. Purchase obligates.
Note
- regardless of the number of pieces, only the highest bidder can buy the item
- deposit a stock of 1 piece and activate the sale if you want to sell the item only once
- please do not define any price rules, just enter the starting price
- please make sure that the article data is meaningful - e.g. no indication of a maximum / minimum purchase or a basic price calculation
