About the Extension

DESCRIPTION

Offer products only to the customers they are meant for: a range only for dealers, an offer only for regular customers, a tasting pack only for new customers, a free gift only from a certain cart value. You do not need a second shop or extra categories for it.

Every product gets a switch and a Rule Builder rule on its detail page. Switched on, the product is restricted for everyone and only appears for the customers the rule applies to. For everyone else it is missing in the whole shop. Products without a rule stay visible for everyone as usual.

Who a product appears for

• Customer group
  Trade goods, bulk packs or spare parts only for business customers, a special edition only for regular customers.
• Login
  A tasting pack only for guests, exclusive products only for logged-in customers.
• Period
  Seasonal items, pre-orders or a product for a campaign start appear and disappear by themselves at the chosen time.
• Cart
  A free gift from a certain cart value, or accessories as soon as a certain product is in the cart.
• Country and sales channel
  Products only for certain delivery countries, for example because of approval or shipping, or only in one sales channel.
• Any other condition
  Everything the Rule Builder knows can be combined, for example customer group and delivery country.

Where it works

A restricted product is missing in categories, search, filters, cross-selling, shopping experiences and cart, its page cannot be reached, and it is not in the sitemap. Variants follow their main product. Headless frontends also only receive allowed products through the Store API. No template changes are needed, and the extension can be switched on and off per sales channel in the configuration.

Setup

• create the rule under Settings > Rule Builder, for example a customer group or a delivery country
• open the product under Catalogues > Products
• switch on the card “Restrict/Allow product by rule” in the tab “General” and select the rule
• save the product

  The extension uses snippets so that all texts and labels can easily be translated into other languages in the administration.
• Multi-shop ready
  Relevant configuration options can be adjusted individually for each sales channel.

  The extension is always compatible with the latest Shopware version and the Shopware default theme.

  If you use a custom theme and/or third-party extensions, please test the extension thoroughly before buying. Compatibility cannot be guaranteed.
• Responsive
  Desktop PC, tablet or smartphone: the extension is fully responsive.
• Free to try and use
  Paid extensions can be tested free of charge and without obligation for 30 days (free trial month of the rental license). Free extensions stay free of charge for as long as you use them.
