About the Extension

With this plugin you can assign an individual discount per customer. You can differentiate whether your customer receives an absolute discount or a percentage discount on their shopping cart.

For improved management and control, you have the option of setting the minimum shopping cart value or the maximum discount granted.

In the plugin configuration, a standard discount can also be assigned for ALL customers. This allows you to give all your customers a discount on their purchase, but give individual customers larger, more customized discounts.

You have further configuration options to restrict the standard discount, for example guests or individual customer groups can be explicitly excluded from it.

With the new import/export profile "CustomerDiscount" you can create and assign individual discounts for your customers.

After installing and activating the plugin, you have the option of activating the standard discount for ALL customers in the plugin configuration or storing individual discounts directly for individual customers.

IMPORTANT: All absolute values that can be entered in the plugin are based on your default currency (e.g. Euro). If you use other currencies, the values are multiplied by the stored currency factor. You can find the different currency factors under: Settings > Currencies > Factor

Standard discount

This can be activated in the plugin configuration. Next, please select the type of discount (absolute/percentage).

Then, please fill in the appropriate discount field (absolute discount/percentage discount).

Optionally, you can set a minimum shopping cart value from which the discount should only take effect. The same applies to the maximum discount value, which is relevant for percentage discounts.

You can also activate the standard discount for guests or exclude certain customer groups from the standard discount.

The settings in the plugin configuration have no effect on a customer's individual discount.

Individual customer discount

Open the detail view of a customer in the administration (Customers > Overview > Customer). After successfully installing the plugin, you will see a new tab "Customer discount" at the last place.

Please select this and click on the "edit" button at the top right to edit the customer.

Now you can activate/deactivate the discount for the customer. Next, select the type of discount (absolute/percentage).

If you choose the absolute discount, you can enter the value of the discount in the next field.

If you select the percentage discount, a percentage value must be entered. With the percentage discount, you also have the option of setting a maximum discount granted, in order to limit the discount to an absolute value.

Example: 50% discount on the shopping cart value but a maximum discount of 500 €

Finally, you can set a minimum shopping basket value from which the discount can only take effect.

If the discount is deactivated for a customer, the default discount from the plugin configuration will apply if it is activated.
