About the Extension

The HTTP cache warmer integrated as standard in Shopware 6 has limitations. For example, not all pages are reliably warmed up with additional languages. Our cache warmer closes this gap and takes all active pages into account. For this purpose, the SEO URLs are used to build the cache.

By default, the HTTP cache is built up completely for all page types. Individual page types can be selected on request. For example, categories or landing pages can be warmed up before product pages. A distinction between main articles and variants is also provided. This allows even particularly extensive stores to control the warm-up process in a targeted manner. If required, individual sales channels can be excluded from the cache crawler.

The warm-up processis time-controlled via cronjob and takes place entirely on your own server without limiting the number of page views. You can set how many pages are processed in parallel. A function checks whether there is enough memory available on the system. If the storage space falls below a certain percentage value, which can be set in advance, the warm-up process is automatically terminated. The integrated logging function documents incorrect page views during the cache build-up. In addition, a log of the completed warm-up pages can be activated in order to monitor the build-up.
