The ideal extension for shop owners who miss the selection configurator known from Shopware 5 or the configurable products function from Magento with Shopware 6 variant articles.
After the customer has decided on a master article or parent article on the category page, he can configure it on the article detail page. In contrast to the standard configurator, this happens step by step in our extension. With the selection of the first variant property, the second variant characteristic is activated. Only when the customer has completely configured the article can he put it into the shopping basket.
With the help of the "Step-by-step configurator" extension for Shopware 6, unavailable combinations are excluded. This way, the customer always receives the exact information, e.g. in which size and colour the desired article is available.
The prerequisite for using the step-by-step configurator extension is the installation of our extension No variants preselection. The extension No Variant Preselection removes the standard variant preselection of Shopware 6. It is particularly recommended for online shops with complex articles. This is because Shopware does not check which combinations, for example of material, colour and size, are available for master articles. This is where the Step-by-step configurator comes in. Based on the first property that the customer selects, he is guided through the complete configuration.
