Lock Billing Address & Change Requests

This plugin locks billing addresses for selected customers and prevents direct modifications in the customer account, address book, and checkout. Instead, customers can submit a change request that must be reviewed and approved or rejected by an administrator.

Why This Plugin?

In B2B environments, it is often necessary to prevent customers from changing billing addresses on their own – for tax, accounting, or compliance reasons. This plugin provides a structured change process with full traceability.

Approval Workflow

Customers submit a change request via a form in their account area. The administrator is notified by email and can approve or reject the request in the admin panel. A rejection reason can be provided. The customer is informed about the outcome via email.

Audit Trail & Transparency

Every change request is documented with timestamp, processing user, and status. Customers can view their request history at any time in their account – including status badges for pending, approved, and rejected requests.

Flexible Configuration

The lock is enabled or disabled per customer via a custom field. This allows you to apply the feature selectively to individual customers or customer groups without restricting others.
