About the Extension
This plugin provides an easy product return option for customers, directly integrated into the Shopware storefront.
It adds a button to the footer of the shop. When clicked, the customer is redirected to a page that lists all orders placed within the last two weeks (configurable via the administration). Here, the customer can select specific products and quantities they wish to return.
After making a selection, the customer can generate an email with a return slip containing all relevant order details and the chosen items. The slip can be printed and included in the return package.
If the customer is not logged in, clicking the button first opens a modal. This allows them to either log in or, in the case of guest orders, verify their identity using email, order number, and zip code. After verification, the matching orders are displayed for processing.
The plugin is designed to improve compliance with a potential upcoming EU regulation requiring a clear return button in online shops. More details: EU draft law on the withdrawal button.
