About the Extension

The extension allows you to remove the background from images. The extension uses the remove.bg service - it is possible to configure all supported options. According to remove.bg, up to 50 mini images per month can be released for free via the API. Mini-images are small images in low resolution up to 0.25 megapixels (e.g. 625 * 400 pixels). For larger images you have to buy credits at remove.bg.

How to use?

After extension is installed, new link in media context menu and button in media sidebar will appear.

You can select one or more images / folders and click on the button "Remove background" in media sidebar which will display modal with all selected images - you have possibility to exclude some of them and start the process.

Extension offers possibility to overwrite existing image(s) or to save a copy of the image(s).
