About the Extension

Use this instead of the old bullets about “Cancel → homepage”, “Confirm Cancellation”, and “both get email with all products”:
Actions at the bottom of the flow

Close / Back — Closes the modal or returns to the previous step. The customer is not sent to the homepage; nothing is submitted until they confirm in the last step.

Cancel selected products — Opens a confirmation step inside the same modal: the customer sees the selected products and quantities and can choose “No, go back” or “Yes, cancel”. Only after “Yes, cancel” is the request sent.

Emails

The shop (admin) receives an email with customer details, order number, order date, and the list of selected products and quantities (recipient: plugin setting Admin e-mail or the sales channel default contact email).

The customer receives a short confirmation email (default templates do not repeat the full product list).

Shop / ERP

The plugin does not change the order in Shopware (no automatic cancellation or line-item updates). It only sends the emails so you can check the request and process it manually or in your ERP.

After installing the plugin in the plugin section, please clear the cache!
In the configuration of the plugin, you can set a special email address to which the administrator will receive email messages, plus style and position the cancellation link exactly where you want it.

Open Extensions → My Extensions → Cancellation button according to EU law, Shopware 6 → Configuration:
Admin e-mail for cancellation notifications - Email address that receives a notification when a customer submits a cancellation. If empty, the shop's default contact e-mail is used.
Show cancellation link - Enable or disable the cancellation link in the storefront. If changes are not visible, clear the cache. Default: enabled.
Trigger text color - Color of the cancellation link. Default: #000000.
Trigger font size (px) - Font size of the link text. Default: 14.
Notice text font size (px) - Font size of the notice text below the link. Default: 12.
Container background color - Background color of the freely positioned cancellation container. Hex color (e.g. #ffffff) or "transparent". Default: #ffffff.
Vertical anchor - Whether the vertical offset is measured from the top or bottom of the page/anchor. Default: Top.
Horizontal anchor - Whether the horizontal offset is measured from the left or right of the page/anchor. Default: Right.
Anchor CSS selector (optional) - CSS selector of an element the link should be moved into (e.g. #testId or .footer-column), instead of floating over the whole page. Leave empty to float over the viewport.
Anchor CSS selector for mobile (optional) - Overrides the anchor selector above for mobile screens only, useful when the desktop anchor element doesn't exist or has different classes on mobile. Leave empty to reuse the desktop selector.
Desktop horizontal offset (px) - Horizontal distance of the cancellation container on desktop. Default: 16.
Desktop vertical offset (px) - Vertical distance of the cancellation container on desktop. Default: 16.
Mobile horizontal offset (px) - Horizontal distance of the cancellation container on mobile devices. Default: 16.
Mobile vertical offset (px) - Vertical distance of the cancellation container on mobile devices. Default: 16.
In the admin area, within the snippet section, you can change the snippets that are related to this plugin and that start with FishnCancelOrder.

Open Settings → Shop → Snippets, search for:
FishnCancelOrder.button.label - Link text in the storefront (e.g. "Cancel the contract").
FishnCancelOrder.header.textBelow - Notice below the link (HTML allowed, e.g. a privacy policy link).
In the admin area, in the email templates section, you can change the email templates called "Cancel Order - Admin notification" and "Cancel Order - Customer confirmation".

Twig variables you can use in your own template text:

{{ customerName }} — name of the customer (admin template)
{{ orderDate }} — original order date, not delivery date (admin template)
{{ cancelDate }} — date the cancellation was submitted, dd-mm-yyyy (both templates)
{{ orderNumber }} — order number (both templates)
{{ products }} — list of cancelled products, each with quantity and name (both templates)

Example product list:

Note: if you already customized a template before updating, your version is not overwritten - add {{ cancelDate }} yourself under Settings → Email templates if you want it in an already-customized template.
In the admin area, under Orders → Cancellation requests, you can view every submitted cancellation request (full or partial) with cancellation date, order number, customer, and the cancelled products. Selecting a request shows the cancelled line items (article number, product, quantity, unit price, total). Access to this overview requires the "fishn_cancel_order.viewer" permission (assign it under Settings → Users & permissions → Roles).
