Description

About the Extension

This plugin allows you to offer your client a unique service: the Same Day Delivery. By extending the cart capabilities the plugin displays whether or not the client can benefit from the delivery by the end of the day. Moreover the plugin offers:

CUT-OFF time limit fields in the backend configuration (so that the vendor can limit the offer of Same Day Delivery to a precise time window, see image 2);
a dropdown to select the shipping cost the vendor wants to adopt for the Same Day Delivery (see image 2);
a text area to write down all the zip-codes for the Same Day Delivery enabled locations (see image 2);
custom free text field to enable each single product for the Same Day Delivery (by default after installing the plugin set as disabled, see image 3);
custom free text field to set the maximum product quantity a customer can order with the Same Day Delivery option (by default after installing the plugin set to '0', see image 3).

The plugin will prompt the client in the cart view with detailed messages about whether the Same Day Delivery is available, or whether some of the above mentioned vendor constraints are violated (see image 5). If the Same Day Delivery is available the customer have the possibility to select as Shipping Type (see image 4) the new delivery option.

NOTE: The plugin does not create by its own a new shipping cost option, it should be created by the site owner in the backend under Configuration>Shipping costs.
