About the Extension

A misspelled brand name, an outdated phrasing or a typo sits in hundreds of product and category texts, and fixing it field by field takes hours. This plugin searches for a text and replaces it inside your fields, across the whole catalog in a single run.

How you work with it:

Find & Replace: enter the search term and the replacement, choose products or categories and select the fields to touch (name, description, meta title, meta description).
Narrow it down: filter by category or status, respect case, include or exclude variants.
Preview before saving: every planned change is shown in red/green before anything is written.
Backup: original texts are saved before each run.
Undo: every operation is kept in the history and can be reverted with one click.

Will my original texts be overwritten?

The plugin saves a backup of the original texts before each run, and every run can be reverted from the history.

Does it use any external services?

No, the plugin works entirely locally in your shop, no data is sent to third parties.

Does the plugin replace whole fields or only the searched text?

Only the searched text inside the field, the rest of the content stays untouched.

Fixed: on Shopware 6.6 the "Search term" and "Replace with" fields lost their input immediately, so no search could be started. The fields (and the category filter) are now bound in a way that works on 6.5, 6.6 and 6.7 alike.
Fixed: on Shopware 6.5 the language, fields, entity, status and category selection and both switches did not apply their changes. All fields now work on 6.5, 6.6 and 6.7.
Fixed: the remembered last search no longer overwrites text you have already typed while the page was still loading.

New: the module now remembers your last search per admin user. Search term, replacement, language, fields and filters are restored the next time you open it, server-side and across devices.
A dismissible hint shows when a previous search was restored, with a one-click Reset to clear the form and the stored entry.
Execute still requires a fresh preview or dry-run in the current visit; restored values alone never enable the Execute button.
Uninstall without "keep user data" now also removes the stored last-search entries.
Dark mode: the preview (before/after of each match) now uses the admin theme colours and stays fully readable in dark mode.

Fix: MariaDB compatibility. Lock info, undo and backup restore used the MySQL-8-only function BIN_TO_UUID(), which fails on MariaDB 10.x with "FUNCTION BIN_TO_UUID does not exist". Replaced with LOWER(HEX()).
