Filter with custom fields
The plugin allows you to filter with the values of your custom fields. You can define different filter types that are displayed in the storefront.
ConfigureThe configuration for the filters can be found under "Settings > Extensions > Custom fields filter".
Create filtersYou create your filters for the custom fields as usual. To do this, press the "Add" button and the editing window opens. New filters must always be maintained in the standard language.
Editing a filterTo edit a filter, simply press the "Edit" button in the context menu. When you edit a new or existing filter, you always do so in the editing window.
The editing windowIn the editing window, you enter all the necessary data for the filter:
- Custom field
Here you assign the custom field to which the filter should refer. The list contains only custom fields that are used for products and are not assigned to a filter. - Name
Enter the name (translatable) of the filter to be displayed in the storefront. - Filter type
Assign the behaviour of the filter here. The following types are available:- Selection
A simple selection that is well applicable to custom field type "Checkboxes". - Multiple selection
With multiple selection, you get a selection list that the user can select for filtering. - Input
If you want to search in an custom field, this filter type is just right. - Range
Use this filter type if you want your customers to filter within a range. The custom field type "Number field" is recommended here.

The desired parameter designation to be displayed in the address line. Only the characters "a-z1-9_-" are allowed! are allowed! - Position
The order of the filters in the storefront. - Active
Display the filter in the storefront.
You can select a filter in the context menu, or several filters in the multiple selection to delete them.
Search FilterYou can search for filters in your list in the search bar.
