Configuration Guide

1. Install the extension

Install the extension via your Shopware backend under Extensions / Store and activate it.

2. Configure the extension

If you want to store different account settings and payment details for individual sales channels, first select a sales channel. You then have to remove the inheritance for each field by clicking the chain icon. After that you can enter your data in the form field.

Now enter the IBAN / BIC / payee as well as the payment reference.

Customizing the payment reference

You can maintain the payment reference for the text shown in the checkout and for the QR code separately. This allows you to track, via your incoming payments, who used the QR code for the transfer, e.g. through an additional word or a modified spelling. The variables %order% for the order number and %customer% for the customer number are available.

Otherwise, for the payee and payment reference, please observe the characters permitted in SEPA transactions: 0-9 A-Z ß a-z / ? : ( ) . , ' + - as well as the space. Please write out umlauts as AE, UE, OE and ß as SS. Most banking apps correct impermissible characters automatically, but in practice, unfortunately, not all of them do, which can lead to errors in the scanning process.

NOTE:
You have also stored your payment details as text in the global shop settings. These continue to be used in your documents and emails. For generating the QR code, however, the IBAN and BIC are required separately, which is why they must additionally be maintained in the plugin configuration.

3. Enable the QR code for payment methods

In the „Activation" section, select the payment methods for which the QR code should appear in the checkout.

4. Pro: Store multiple payees per customer group

You can have different bank accounts output for individual customer groups – e.g. separate accounts for B2B and B2C customers. To do so, enable the „Use bank account per customer group" switch.

The respective bank account is then maintained directly on the customer group in the additional fields at the bottom of the page. You will find them there under the „SEPA credit transfer via QR-Code Pro" tab. There you can define the payee, IBAN and BIC individually.

For customer groups without their own assignment, the default bank account from the payment details in the plugin configuration (step 2) continues to be used.

5. Pro: Enable the QR code in invoice PDFs

Enable the output of the QR code in your documents so that your customers can pay directly from the invoice. In the „Documents" section, enable the „Output QR code on invoice" option. The QR code and the payee information it contains are then shown at the bottom of the last page of the document.

6. Pro: Embed the QR code in email templates

Select the payment methods for which the QR code and the payee information it contains should be shown in email templates.

Then embed the HTML block from the configuration at the desired position in the relevant email templates. As a rule, this will primarily be the order confirmation template.

7. Optional: Customize the payment method description texts

Let your customers know already when selecting the payment method that they can now conveniently pay by QR code when using prepayment. You can customize the description text here:

Settings -> Shop -> Payment methods -> Edit (via the three-dots button)

E.g. for the payment method Prepayment:
„Pay BY QR CODE with your banking app or the classic way via online banking."

You can control the order of the payment methods offered on the selection page via the number entered in the „Position" field.

Done! The extension is now ready to use.
