About the Extension

Category Slider PRO is a Shopping Experiences (CMS) element that turns any page into a modern, eye-catching category showcase.

Each slide combines a full-width hero area on the left with a glass-style product panel on the right. The hero shows your category title, description, call-to-action button and clickable subcategory badges. The product panel shows up to 3 products per slide with image, name, price, rating, quantity stepper and add-to-cart button.

You can use the slider for seasonal campaigns, brand worlds, top categories or new arrivals. Products can be picked automatically (top sellers, newest, random) or manually per slide. The background can be a solid color, a gradient with up to 3 colors, or the category cover image with an overlay for better text readability.

Every color, every font size (desktop, tablet, mobile), and the spacing and corner radius can be configured directly in the admin – no code or theme changes needed.

The slider works on all devices with touch swipe, keyboard arrows, autoplay with a visual progress ring, pill navigation with arrows and dots, and full ARIA accessibility support (WCAG 2.1 AA).
