About the Extension

The Textile Customization Configurator transforms standard products into fully customizable apparel experiences directly within your Shopware store. Built as a custom single-page application (SPA) and integrated through a dedicated Shopware plugin, it enables customers to personalize garments using DTF printing or embroidery through an intuitive step-by-step workflow.

Customers can choose a customization method, select placement areas such as front, back, chest, or sleeve, and create their designs using a professional browser-based design studio. The editor supports artwork uploads, clipart libraries, text styling, curved text, resizing, rotation, and free positioning of design elements.

A real-time garment preview shows exactly how the finished product will look before purchase. Customers can then specify quantities using a size matrix, with pricing updated dynamically based on their selections. Before checkout, a detailed summary screen displays all configuration choices for final review.

All customization details are stored with the order and displayed throughout the customer journey, including the cart, checkout, and order confirmation. Store administrators can access configuration data and download associated design files directly from the Shopware backend.
