About the Extension

Redeem vouchers in partial amounts with remaining balance

In Shopware 6 standard individual vouchers will be redeemed with the full value, even if the shopping cart value less as the voucher value. Offer your customers to redeem their vouchers in parts until the value of the voucher is completely used up. The app extends Shopware's standard voucher system so that even already stored vouchers in the system can be redeemed after installing the app.

Important note: The partial redemption of vouchers only works in connection with "individual voucher codes" with abolute values and not with general promotional codes! General voucher codes are redeemed as in the Shopware standard.

The entry of voucher codes on the order confirmation page is not given in the Shopware standard.

As an additional feature that comes with version 1.5.0 you have the possibility to activate the voucher code input for the order confirmation page in the plugin configuration.

Well designed - just what I hoped for. Builds well on Shopwares existing voucher design, which seems to keep the extension very light weight, instead of reinventing the wheel. In the off-canvas cart remaining amount on entered gift card is shown to the customer in a neat user friendly manner. This can also be shown on the customer profile page (just enable in extensions config). Also a small hidden gem is that the current balance is shown in the admin in a new column in the voucher table. We detected a small issue related to our currency, which was resolved and new version released in less than 12 hours - excellent support. Note that if you offer discounts that renders the cart value all the way down to 0 you probably also something like the free extension "Payment method for free orders by Net Inventors GmbH" and enable it as payment gateway since real Payment gateways, Paypal and similar don't allow purchase value of 0 - but that is the case not only this voucher extension, but other similar voucher extensions in Shopware.
