About the Extension

There are various situations in which you want to inform your customers with a notice in the store. No matter if it's vacation, delivery delays or technical restrictions: It is important to inform your customers proactively and visibly.

With the app "Individual hints and customer information" you can inform your customers with individual hints. You have the option of displaying a global insertion in the header of your store or displaying it on the product detail page. The place of placement and the type of information message can be set individually.

NEW in version 2.1: hint texts per language

Do you run a multilingual store? You can now store every hint text separately per language – even when all languages run through the same sales channel. German customers read the German text, English customers the English one, French customers the French one. This applies to all three hints: the shop header as well as both notices on the product detail page.

You maintain the texts directly on the app configuration page: one click on the globe icon opens a dialog with one input row per language. Because the app builds on the native snippet system of Shopware, you can alternatively edit the texts under Settings → Snippets – with no need for additional sales channels.

Nothing to migrate: as long as you do not store a language-specific text, everything stays exactly as before.

Sehr hilfreiches Plugin, welches einfach zu bedienen ist! Wir würden uns freuen, wenn man zukünftig weitere Hinweistexte konfigurieren könnte. Wir kommen bei lediglich zweien an unsere Grenzen. :-)

Erfüllt meinen Zweck, tolle Erweiterung!
Wünschenswert wäre, dass man auch HTML in den Hinweistexten verwenden könnte. Dann wäre ein besseres Styling möglich (Fett, unterstrichen etc.). Vllt kommt das Feature ja mit dem nächsten Update :)

Hey Stefanie, vielen Dank für deine Bewertung und deinen Verbesserungsvorschlag. Mit dem Update auf Version 1.3.0, welches ich gerade eben kurzfristig veröffentlicht habe, ist die Verwendung von HTML-Tags in den Hinweismeldungen ab sofort möglich! :-) Liebe Grüße, Henrik

I activated a hint message but it is not displayed. What do I need to do?

Depending on your store's caching settings, you may need to clear the caches under Settings => Caches & Indexes.

I stored a hint text per language, but the storefront still shows the old text.

Snippets are bound to snippet sets, which in turn are assigned to a sales channel domain. Check under Sales Channels => Domains which snippet set the domain uses, then clear the caches under Settings => Caches & Indexes.
