About the Extension

The problem: mixing up test and live systems 

If you regularly switch between test and live systems in Shopware, you know how easily it happens: one careless click, the wrong browser tab, and suddenly you've deleted or changed data on the live system, data that was only ever meant to be touched on the test system. It's especially risky with several environments open at once, or several teammates working in parallel. A quick glance at the URL often isn't enough to be sure. And fixing these mix-ups afterwards is usually expensive and time-consuming. 


The solution: know your environment at a glance 

ADMIN ENVIRONMENT INDICATOR solves this problem by colour-coding every Shopware environment directly in the administration. Whether test, staging or live: a clear colour marker always shows you exactly where you are.

Every working environment can be marked individually. Choose which colour represents which system, and decide where the marker appears within the administration area.

The marker can be displayed however you prefer:
