About the Extension

The Gift Voucher Plugin for Shopware allows customers to purchase and send digital gift cards via email. Users can select a gift card, personalize it with a recipient’s name, add a message, and schedule the delivery date. The admin can define the voucher value and manage all gift cards through the backend.

Upon purchase, the recipient receives an email containing the gift card, a unique voucher code, validity details, usage instructions, the sender’s name, and a custom message. The voucher can be applied at checkout, deducting the corresponding amount from the total purchase. The gift card balance is also displayed on the cart page.

The admin panel includes a “Gift Cards” section where all vouchers are listed, and the admin can edit details like name, price, discount code, and quantity. Two modules—"Gift Card Purchased" and "Gift Card Used"—help track voucher status. Unused vouchers remain in the "Purchased" section, while redeemed ones move to "Used."

Admin can track the revenue generated from the Gift cards on the Dashboard.

This plugin ensures a smooth checkout experience, making it easy for customers to gift store credit while providing store owners with a seamless voucher management system.
