About the Extension
Prepare maintenance windows with fewer blind spots
Update Preflight Report helps merchants and agencies assess planned Shopware and plugin updates before the maintenance window starts. The extension generates a prioritized technical report in the Administration for installed extensions, visible version drift, duplicate installations and target-version risks.
It does not run updates automatically. The goal is a clear decision basis before a maintenance window: what looks safe, what should be cleaned up first, and where vendor or compatibility checks are required.
Typical use cases
- Check which installed extensions need attention before a Shopware update.
- Detect version drift between installed plugin state and Composer/snapshot data.
- Flag duplicate installations such as the same extension in custom/plugins and vendor/store.shopware.com.
- Prepare a copyable maintenance report for agencies, developers or support teams.
Important
The extension does not execute updates, does not modify shop data and does not replace a staging system. It is a technical preflight and documentation tool with concrete next steps per finding.
